Proposal of Improvement for a Textile Finishing Company in the Medellin city Through of Discrete Simulation

The textile industry in Colombia is a source of employment for more than 200.000 people and 50% this production undertaken Medellin. Modeling improving processes allow economic line to be competitive internationally. In paper, we make description about the use discrete event simulation finishing company through presentation results four scenarios, which finally shows potential simulations productive environments its high impact when modelling part reality without necessity experimenting with real system. method used paper summarized three major stages: first one methodology, second data support simulation, final stage an analysis comparison scenarios. was statistically validated verified behaviors it executed by using software tools such as EasyFit®, Microsoft Excel® Simul8®.
